We had a fabulous night ringing in the year 2009! We recently reconnected with long lost friends and were fortunate enough to be able to spend our New Years Eve with them. They have four kids, so along with our two kids, it's a busy busy evening. But oh, so fun! Nathan was an unbelievable little boy for mommy, going to sleep for me at 7:30 and never waking again until I woke him to go home, well after 1am. Madison, on the other hand, while she was a perfect angel, her and her girlfriend stayed up watching movies until it was time for us to leave. She even survived the car ride home, putting her official bed time right around 2am. Sick, huh? What's worse is that she was up at her same 'ol 8am wake-time. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why kids find it impossible to sleep in, but I guess we'll never know!
