Nathan's first trip to the dentist!

I was never worried about Madison's first visit to the dentist...she was excited about it, loved to have her teeth brushed at home and trusted in mommy's words much more easily than Nathan does. Nathan, on the other hand, I thought for sure would zip his lips tightly closed and not let a soul near his teeth. He fights having his teeth brushed at night and doesn't necessarily believe me all the time when I say everything will be alright. Nevertheless, we headed off to his first appointment with Madison in tow. Madison actually had her appointment first and Nathan watched as they cleaned her teeth. Perhaps that helped! When it was his turn, he climbed right into the chair, popped on Madison's diva sunglasses, and opened his mouth wide.

On a side note, although both kids have healthy, cavity-free teeth, Madison has orthodontics in her very near future...as in, in the next 6 months! She's been loosing her baby teeth at a rapid rate and there's no room for her permanent teeth! She goes back in for a mold of her mouth next month and she'll be getting spacers...yikes!! Speaking of which, number 7 is working on its' way out!! Yikes!!
